Have you finally met the girl of your dreams, but feel her slipping through your fingers because you can't afford to take her out? There comes a time when staying in and watching movies is not cutting it on the date front and its time to cut through the cob-webs in your wallet and spend some cold hard cash.
Most restaurants are extravagant in atmosphere, ambiance, and unfortunately price but I have a solution for any college student who has to pay for books, classes, etc. That solution is a restaurant in San Francisco called, Broken Record. They have a bar area where people can participate in trivia tournaments held nightly, as well as a delicious and affordable menu. The menu consists of tasty seafood gumbo, mac and cheese, and a wide range of house sandwiches, all for only $8 apiece. Don't forget dessert-an entire pie to share between you and your sweetheart for a measly $5. But, make sure you have cash handy before you pay because it's the only form of payment that they will accept.
The Broken Record is located at 1166 Geneva St., four blocks east of Mission St. For additional information, visit: www.brokenrecordsf.com
